A creative who still believes words can change things.

I’ve spent more than twenty years writing, directing and shaping ideas for brands, campaigns and causes across London, Toronto and Melbourne.
I’ve worked in big agencies and small rooms, led creative teams, built brands and helped marketing departments get their message straight.

But behind all that, I’m driven by the same thing that got me into this industry in the first place: a belief that creativity, used well, can make people think differently and act differently.

People walking down a sloped sidewalk in a hillside neighborhood, with houses, cars, and distant hills in the background. One person is carrying a child on their shoulders.

Outside client work, I sit on the Executive of Fabians Victoria, a progressive organisation focused on greater equality of power, wealth and opportunity.
Politics isn’t a side interest for me, it’s where creativity meets purpose. I like ideas that help people, not just sell to them.

When I’m not working, I front a punk band. It’s loud, messy and cathartic.

I’m also writing an opera about darts. Lyrics only, still looking for a composer for the hard part. Because if you’re going to write about passion, heartbreak and triumph, you might as well do it in 4/4 with a dart in hand.

If you want to talk about a project, an idea, or you happen to know a composer who loves darts, get in touch.
